flash/flesh
“flash/flesh” is a fully illustrated zine featuring stylized models in editorial-style layouts to showcase the flash tattoo designs I've created. Without the use of copy, the zine relies entirely on composition and expression.

I designed the illustrated figures to align with the aesthetic of my tattoo work, using minimal clothing better to highlight the versatility of each design’s placement. A neutral color palette keeps the focus on the tattoos themselves. I also experimented with a variety of blend modes to incorporate the base tattoo designs into the background.
The final zine was printed & bound using black ribbons.
